7. The Noble Truth

 You draw yourself up slightly and inform her that you are a noble of the highest standing in your home country, and you were on your way to Sayin before the storm sank the ship.

 She twitches her whiskers, considering you. Then she nods and starts to skip away down the path, a tail flicking out from under her tunic. When she realises you aren’t following, she stops and sighs, holding out a hand. She explains carefully that the forest is no place for a mere human, and you should get out of there.
